Netflix has joined Sony and Sega on the hacked list!

Late Sunday night, Netflix users took to Twitter after the streaming movie and DVD rental site started behaving erratically. Some instant streaming films took a long time to load, if they loaded at all.

Netflix Twitter service account @Netflixhelps acknowledged the outage Sunday night at around midnight, Eastern Time writing, “Hi everyone, we’re working hard to bring the website and watch instantly back up. We’ll post again when everything is back online.”

@Netflixhelps followed up around 3:00 am with this update, “The website and watch instantly are online, but some are still having issues with activating devices. We’ll have that fixed ASAP too.”

Hackingnetflix.com, the Netflix friendly blog with an unfortunate title, should expect a call from the feds soon.
