Diggy Simmons released his debut album Unexpected Arrival in March 2012, and since then he’s been riding high doing his fourth tour.

DETAILS: Diggy & J.Cole Reportedly Settled Their Differences!

Nominated for two BET awards, Diggy headed out the Los Angeles to join the award show festivities.

GlobalGrind caught up with Diggy at Debra Lee’s BET Awards Pre-Dinner red carpet to chit-chat about his debut album, touring, receiving awards, and of course the details on how he called a truce with Roc Nation rapper J.Cole.

DETAILS: Diggy Simmons Explains J.Cole Diss

It was reported earlier this summer that Diggy and J.Cole cleared the air and settled their differences, but of course GlobalGrind wanted to get the details behind their conversation.

When asked how him and J.Cole called a truce, Diggy stated:

“I didn’t even put it [“What You Say To Me”] out , it leaked. He came up to me, and was like ‘It’s all good. I didn’t even mean it in that way, and none of that even happened. I wasn’t even saying I was doing any of that.’ So you know it’s all good. It was love….It’s whatever I wasn’t really tripping over it.”

We’re glad Diggy and J.Cole straightened everything out and called a truce. Now, everyone can move on and continue to make great music.
