Any hip hop fan knows that Jay-Z has been pretty much running the game since he touched a mic, so to walk in his path is a huge deal.

Apparently Drake is doing just that and is even getting ahead of Jigga since breaking his record for the amount of number 1 singles on the Billboard R&B/Hip-Pop charts!

With his feature on 2 Chainz’s “No Lie”, which just landed at #1 this week on Billboard’s top 100, the “HYFR” rapper now has 10 number one songs, passing Jay-Z’s 9 number 1 hits!

Back in February, Drake already accomplished a big feat when his single “Make Me Proud” went #1 on the Rap charts, making it his 11th, which was more than Ciroc boy, P. Diddy himself.
