Well, at least there was no fighting this time, right?

VIDEO: Fun. Bring “We Are Young” Fun To Conan

In indie pop band Fun.’s video for “We Are Young,” the first single off of their sophomore album, Some Nights, a multitude of wild fights started to break out in the audience while the band was performing.

However, in the band’s follow up video, things were a lot calmer.

In the video for the “Some Nights (Intro),” we see Fun.’s lead singer, Nate Ruess, grab the mic and sing his vocals in front of a fancy-schmancy-tux-wearing audience, who kind of just blankly watch.

The music for the “Some Nights (Intro)” is a departure for the band. Nate vocals aren’t over the hard-hiding drums we’re used to, but rather over cinematic, dramatic music that sounds like it comes straight from the opera.

The video for “Some Nights” accompanied the release of the band’s sophomore album, which dropped this Tuesday and can be streamed fully at their site
