On the heels of releasing the sneak peek to his forthcoming “Bad” video, Wale decided to make Wednesday his day by announcing the title and release date of his third album.
With the success of his sophomore album, Ambition, Wale has decided to title his follow-up album, The Gifted.
In a recent interview, the Maybach Music rapper revealed details about his new project, stating:
“It’s gonna have one sound. It’s very, very soulful. ‘Bad’ is a pretty good indication of the direction that I’m going for on this particular project. It’s a little nostalgic, a little vintage, but the sounds will make you feel on this album.”
Wale is set to premiere his “Bad” video later on today at BET’s 106 & Park.
Wale’s third forthcoming album, The Gifted, is set to hit store shelves June 25.
