Tonight Romney won all three state primaries in the states of Washington D.C., Maryland and Wisconsin, totaling 600 delegates, according to CNN.

Romney’s main opponent is former Pennsylvania Senator Rick Santorum, who has 272 delegates.

Santorum, a Catholic, has been associated with extremely right wing views, allowing him to garner a lot of support from the southern states.
