The biggest scam in American history is about to pulled off in Arizona tomorrow, as Sheriff Joe Arpaio of Maricopa County will try to convince America that President Barack Obama is not a natural born citizen.

Are we in 2008 again, or 2011, for that matter? At issue is the eligibility of President Obama’s citizenship status.
Here’s the skinny: good old boy Arpaio and his Cold Case Posse opened the investigation into Obama’s eligibility after they were asked by a local Tea Party group (250 members) to look into the legitimacy of Obama being a natural born citizen before he’s placed on the 2012 presidential election ballot in Arizona.
Among other issues is Obama’s Social Security number, which they believe is a fake, claiming that the numbers correspond to a Connecticut address, even though the President apparently had no links to the state.
How they got the President’s SSN, we’ll never know.
Tomorrow at 1 p.m. Mountain Standard Time in Phoenix, 3 p.m. Eastern, Arpaio will hold a press conference which will be covered by the likes of the Associated Press, Reuters, Univision, the Washington Times, NBC, CBS and ABC affiliates, as well as statewide radio networks, among many others.
Members of the Surprise, Ariz., Tea Party feel that the birth certificate released to the public by the White House on April 27th might be a forgery.
Here is their charge:
“The Surprise Tea Party is concerned that no law enforcement agency or other duly constituted government agency has conducted an investigation into the Obama birth certificate to determine if it is in fact an authentic copy of 1961 birth records on file for Barack Obama at the Hawaii Department of Health in Honolulu, or whether it, or they are forgeries.”
They also added:
Those wishing to send a tax-deductible contribution directly to the Cold Case Posse may do so by mailing a check or money order to: MCSO Cold Case Posse, P.O. Box 74374, Phoenix, AZ 85087.
So in other words, give them money and they’ll find out whether or not President Obama is an American, so you can sleep better at night knowing your President is a red blooded American.

Has it really come to this? I thought we resolved this issue last year. Or has the GOP run out of things to slander President Obama about?
Earlier this week, an Alaska man filed a lawsuit aiming to remove President Obama from the state’s ballot, arguing that Obama is not a “natural born citizen” because he is African American; his case is that Obama is of the “mulatto” race.
Side-shows and carnival barkers want us to forget that while Obama has occupied the White House for the last three years, he’s only created 3 million private sector jobs, reformed health care, saved the auto industry, repealed Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell and killed Osama Bin Laden in just his first term.
The “birther” movement is just another scam, hoax or flim flam, just like the Nigerian Prince who promises you money if you help him transfer millions of dollars out of Nigeria – nothing more, nothing less.
