It looks like the Department of Justice is really going to take a look at the George Zimmerman case.
The Sanford Police Department announced on Thursday that the DOJ has placed a hold on all the evidence from the case.
That means the 9mm gun used to murder 17-year-old Trayvon Martin won’t go back to Zimmerman just yet. But details on what the DOJ plans to do with the evidence isn’t yet clear.
