Jerry Sandusky, the disgraced former defensive Penn State football coach, is free again after posting $250,000 bail after spending Wednesday night behind bars.

Sandusky’s wife put up $200,000 in real estate holdings and a $50,000 certified check, according to online court records.
Sandusky was arrested Wednesday and charged with 12 new sex abuse counts involving two new alleged victims.

Last month he was charged with abusing eight boys over a 15 year period. In all, Sandusky faces more than 50 charges.
It was also revealed yesterday in the new grand jury presentment that the man identified as Victim 9 testified that Sandusky’s wife did not respond to his scream for help from the basement of their State College home.
“The victim testified that on at least one occasion he screamed for help, knowing that Sandusky’s wife was upstairs, but no one ever came to help him,” the report reads.
The former Penn State coach says he is innocent, and that he only “horsed around” with the boys.
