The U.S. men’s basketball team cruised to a 98-71 victory over France in their Olympic opener on Sunday and were congratulated by Michelle, who is no stranger to game since her brother is the head basketball coach at Oregon State University.

Mrs. Obama watched the game just a few rows back, and at the final buzzer, the entire team came over for a hug, one-by-one.

New York Knicks forward Carmelo Anthony said:

“It was a very special moment…For her to be sitting over there and supporting us, we just wanted to thank her for coming.”

Never a bad day when you get a win and a hug from the First Lady.
