The first big awards show red carpet of the season is being rolled up. The critique claws are coming out, and the trend forecasting is in full swing, but of course the most important news of the moment is who was the best dressed of the red carpet at the 70th Annual Golden Globe Awards.

While we aren't in the business of ranking looks numerically, we have selected our 10 favorite looks from tonight's red carpet, and topping our favorites are Jennifer Lopez in Zuhair Murad (the man whose designs made Kristen Stewart a style star), Keri Washington in Miu Miu with all Prada accessories and of course, Julianne Hough who stole the spotlight in a stunning Monique Lhuillier gown.

Also notable for her seriously sexed up look in Donna Karan is Taylor Swift, who ditched all things glitter and seriously wowed us in the eggplant number. 

While the red carpet was versatile in nature, it seems like the belles of the ball all played it safe in neutral colors, or blacks and whites.
