Prada is no stranger to working with actors and famous faces in their campaigns, and in the video for the brand’s new fragrance Prada Candy, they enlisted the help of eclectic directors Wes Anderson and Roman Coppola.

The video, featured above, is the first in a three part series that features French model and actress Léa Seydoux as Candy and two friends Peter Gadiot and Rodolphe Paul as Gene and Julius, both of whom are trying to get Candy’s affection. Although the film is clearly French New Wave-inspired, the direction of the short film is signature Wes Anderson.

It should also come as no surprise that each character is dressed completely in Prada’s Spring 2013 collection. According to Prada, the series “encompasses Candy as the most sparkling and unexpected character.”

Although you only get a hint of Candy’s unpredictability towards the end, we’re sure it plays out much more in parts two and three.
