Soulja Boy and Justin Bieber, two very rich young musicians, record an ode to the girls who are rich like them, professing their love for the females ‘buying all the clothes’ and ‘pockets so thick’ they ‘don’t even have to ask…’
Sounding more pop than hip-hop, ‘Rich Girl’ is virtually devoid of base, and instead, focuses on melodies that sound like they were made from toy keyboards, jack-in-the-boxes, and snowglobes. Bieber meanwhile, takes the hook, while Soulja Boy offers up his usual rhymes detailing the high life.
