Though she stared on the Disney channel, Demi Lovato is ready to break out of that ‘pop princess’ mold and show a little soul. Only seventeen years old and already boasting two self-penned albums, ‘Don’t Forget’ and ‘Here We Go Again,’ Lovato displays a maturity way beyond her years. However, just like most females (or males, for that matter) between the age of 14 and 45, she admits she has a little ‘thing’ for Trey Songz. When asked who she would love to collaborate with new album, she asnwered with a solid, ‘I would love, love, love to collaborate with Trey Songz. I think that’d be awesome.’
Wouldn’t we all.

With regards to her new, more R&Bish sound, Demi says her inspiration is coming from Rihanna and Keri Hilson.
Another fun tidbit is that Lovato is heading out for the Camp Rock 2 tour this week, along with the Jonas brothers. Interestingly enough, her ex-boyfriend is Joe Jonas. Although Demi says their just going to roll with the punches, and try to keep their good friendship going. Sounds like she has a pretty solid head on her shoulders.
