The hours continue to tick down on the final day of negotiations on a pending government shutdown. Now, the latest news is that the government shutdown is being threatened by Republicans over Planned Parenthood. The Republican party no longer wants to contribute funding to the sexual and reproductive healthcare provider.

What’s even more surprising is that throughout all the negotiations and fighting, there isn’t a women’s voice present in any of the meetings. 

STORY: Shut ‘Em Down Open Up Shop

House Democrats, led by Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (Calif.), has been left out of some of the major meetings. Why are men controlling all the talks? All of the principal negotiators in both parties are male.

Now that the negotiations have shifted to Planned Parenthood, it would only be right to have a woman’s voice in the room. So we want to know, where the ladies at?

Clinton 

Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton should definitely be in the room with the big boys. Clinton is President Obama’s chief negotiator when it comes to international politics, so she would fit in perfectly in regards to domestic politics.

The Big O 

There isn’t anything Oprah can’t do, she’s on satellite radio, she has her own TV show and she has her OWN channel. If anyone knows how to negotiate deals, it’s Oprah.

Michele Bachmann 

Having tea party queen Michele Bachmann in the meetings would be great because it will give her the opportunity to show her negotiation skills. After all, she raised the most money for the tea party than anyone.

Meagan The Beast 

Meagan McCain can surely add some young flavor to the negotiations. Meghan has made a voice for herself and has risen as one of the young voices of the Republican Party.

The Right Trump 

This is the Trump we want in the White House, not the Donald. Ivanka Trump has proven to be an outstanding business women and she doesn’t have any of the issues her father has.

Gaga 

Having Gaga in the room will surely scare the sh*t out of some of those tea party republicans. She would move the negotiations along quicker.

The Fighter 

Ayaan Hirsi Ali is a Dutch feminist activist, writer, politician and founder of the women’s rights organization the AHA Foundation. She is a seasoned verteran in the political game with limitless insight on foreign affairs. Let’s someone in there that has some international flavor.
