Former “American Idol” judge Kara DioGuardi is releasing her memoir, “A Helluva High Note” next week (April 26) and the successful producer is revealing some painful memories in the forthcoming tell-all.

DioGuardi goes into detail and describes three separate incidents of abuse. The music exec opens up about being molested by the son of a family friend, date raped by a producer and sexually harassed by an artist.

“On one particular day, he took me into the back shed of his house and put his hands all over my breasts and vagina,” she writes, describing being molested at the age of 11. “I remember freezing and not knowing what to do.”

As if that wasn’t painful enough, DioGuardi goes on to reveal that a date with a “known producer” in 2000 ended in sexual assault. “Within a few hours, he was on top of me, pumping, sweating, and speaking to me in Spanish, not a word of which I could understand,” she writes of the encounter.

DioGuardi admits that she kept the date rape a secret in fear that it would affect her career. Unfortunately, that wouldn’t be the only time she put up with sexual abuse. In the book, DioGuardi admits that she had some unpleasant experiences with artists. She writes about one unnamed artist who invited her on a work trip only to have the trip involve, “Watching Russian porn, scavenging around the kitchen for food [and] leering at two strippers…as they performed sex acts in the living room.”

In addition to releasing her memoir, DioGuardi is also gearing up for the release of the Bravo show “Platinum Hit,” which is set to premiere on May 30.
