Behind every great man is an even greater woman. Is the same true for great ballers?
Before reality TV, we were clueless as who NBA players were married to, much less who their girlfriends were. Nowadays, the other halves of star ballers are the center of attention on our TV and computer screens, ducking the paparazzi after a scandal or entertaining one.
However, there are some NBA wives who are always camera ready on or near courtside and they’re also drama free. When she was still boo-ed up with Tony Parker, Eva Longoria was a prime example. Ditto Victoria’s Secret Angel Adriana Lima. Vanessa Bryant? She looks good now, although just a little while ago she was lugging around a rock in a wheelbarrow, a million dollar atonement from her man Kobe.
A few NBA wives are just “normal” women who happen to be married to an NBA superstar. She raises her kids, shops at the mall and makes Ikea runs. We won’t know about her until someone retires or does something stupid. Who are these women? What do they like to wear? Are they closet conscious? We may never know.
