We don’t know about you, but we spent the time scanning the crowd for the best hats at this morning’s Royal Wedding and so did People. For us, the best part of the Royal Wedding wasn’t the event itself, it was the invited guests and what some of them chose to rock on their domes: hats of all shapes and sizes, that defied gravity and dare we say, reason?

A well designed and worn hat can transform an outfit as well as lend confidence to the wearer. Judging the hat lovers we saw, it’s safe to say that many ladies were feeling themselves something extra.

Royal milliner Phillip Treacy made bank and was wildly represented this morning. After the break check out some millinery madness.
