Mike Tyson has made a name for himself in Hollywood with two successful cameos in “The Hangover” series. Now Iron Mike Tyson is ready to take on new movies roles, new ideas and he’s making phone apps.

Mike Tyson’s Main Event is available on iTunes and his latest movie “The Hangover Part II” is in theaters now.

We caught up with Mike Tyson and got his opinion on the tattoo controversy surrounding the Hangover, his daughter reaching dating age and much more.

What is the hardest part about being an actor?

Actually, the hardest part is the easiest part. People always want me to play “Mike Tyson.” I have a lot of range, yet it’s hard for producers to visualize me beyond “Mike Tyson.” I did play a role before where I covered up my tattoo. That was cool because people could see me in a great role outside of being myself. I’d love to do an action flick because everybody already knows I can do comedy.

You tested your vocal skills in “The Hangover Part II,” if you could drop a verse on any of your boy Tupac’s songs, which one would it be?

I would never insult Tupac’s memory by dropping any lines on his tracks. He was a true genius and a good friend.

How do you feel about your tattoo artist suing the movie?

I just want people to see the movie. It’s a good movie. I don’t have any comment about what another man decides to do for what ever reason he decides to do it. I’m just glad I’m not getting sued for once.

Since this is “The Hangover,” tell us about a time where you got as wasted as the members of the wolfpack.

Those days are behind me. I have kids. I don’t want them hearing from their friends that I talked about a time I got really wasted. Now that I’m sober, I care about the kind of legacy I’m leaving behind for them. But, you can just imagine the kind of stuff I use to get myself into living in Vegas.

You’re getting older and your kids are growing up, if your daughter brought a guy home for you to meet, what would you say to him?

I’d say, ‘whatever you do to her tonight, I’m going to do to you later’ (laughing). No seriously, that’s scary, I don’t know. He just better be respectful. I just hope my daughters aren’t attracted to the kind of jerk I used to be. I want them to be attracted to the man I am now … a decent man that doesn’t cheat on his wife and honors his commitments.

What are your favorite shows to watch with your children?

I personally like “The Borgias” right now, but I’m usually stuck watching “Wow Wow Wubbzy” or “Yo Gabba Gabba” with my two year old daughter Milan. She pretty much controls the televisions in the house.

What’s so special about your favorite vegan dish?

My favorite vegan dishes are Indian food dishes, but to be honest with you, I’m not vegan for the taste because most vegan food isn’t that good to me. I just love the benefits it gives me on a mental and physical level.

Bowe, Holyfield, Hopkins, Roy Jones, all these guys are still fighting or very damaged and here you are with movies, TV shows and smiling. Would you consider yourself a blueprint for a fighter’s life after boxing?

I’m not a blueprint for anything. I’m just blessed and extremely grateful to still have some relevance to people after boxing.

Which new music artist are you listening to?

I’m old school, still in the 70’s, 80’s and 90’s on my iPod. As a matter of fact, it took me forever to get into an iPod. My wife got me into it a couple of years ago. I was still comfortable logging CD’s everywhere and putting them into my portable CD player.

Favorite person to follow on Twitter?

Following others isn’t really my thing. I’m just grateful people even care to follow me.
