Rep. Anthony Weiner may have admitted Monday at his press conference to sending a racy photo to a woman over Twitter, but that didn’t stop conservative big-wig Andrew Breitbart from stealing the show.
The right-wing blogger patted himself on the back, holding his own press conference while everyone waited for Congressman Weiner to come out and face the music.
New York Congressman Anthony Weiner admitted to sending lewd photos to a women on Twitter and other photos to other women, but that (non) shocker came afterconservative blogger Andrew Breitbart took the reins during the news conference called by Weiner to address the photos.
“I want to hear the truth,” Breitbart says in the video, adding, “Quite frankly, I’d like an apology for him being complicit in a ‘blame the messager’ strategy.”
Weiner had scheduled his conference in New York at 4 p.m. But the person who appeared was not the man at the center of the controversy. Instead, Breitbart took the stage and fielded questions for about 10 minutes before leaving the podium.
