Marilyn Monroe’s iconic dress from The Seven Year Itch sold at a Debbie Reynolds Profiles in History auction for $4.6 million, around $5.5 million with fees, on Saturday. It was estimated to fetch between $1 and $2 million and went way overboard.

Also included at that auction were iconic pieces from movies like The Wizard of Oz and Cleopatra.

Michael Jackson’s red leather Thriller jacket will soon be going up for auction and that is estimated to bring in anywhere from $200,000 to $400,000. Most people who grew up in the ’80s and ’90s can agree that the jacket worn by MJ was one of the things we all secretly wanted to own.

That in itself forced us to ask ourselves what memorabilia would we add to our collection if we had the loot. We asked the GlobalGrind team to choose a few things that they would love to own if they could.

Click through and take your vote of the coolest memorabilia that you would like to add to your collection.
