Tiger Woods has recently confirmed that he will no longer be working with long-standing caddie Steve Williams after a successful 12 year relationship.

This bromance, defined as a close but non-sexual relationship between two (or more) men, has come to an end. Although Tiger has only great things to say about Steve, no bromance break up is ever amicable.

Some of the most notable celebrity bromance break ups include 50 Cent and Young Buck, whose bromance ended in tears, Damon “Dame” Dash and Jay-Z because they decided they couldn’t mix business with bromance and P. Diddy and Fonzworth Bentley because ‘manservant’ isn’t bromance code.

Take a look at celebrity bromance break ups after the jump!

Derek Jeter and Alex Rodriguez’s bromance goes way back to when they first met in 1993 and they even appeared together on the cover of Sports Illustrated in 1997. With so much in common, we don’t understand what went wrong. Their bromance ended in 2000 but they’ve been trying to mend it ever since ARod joined the Yankees in 2004. Unfortunately, we don’t see this bromance ever being the same.

Shortly after 50 Cent and Game parted ways, 50 Cent found out that then G-Unit member Young Buck was maintaining contact with Game. Phone calls, tears and unpaid royalty checks lead to a whole lot of drama that caused this duo to end their bromance in 2008.

Roc-A-Fella Records co-founder Damon “Dame” Dash and Jay-Z’s bromance ended when tensions began to rise during their run with Rocawear clothing. With disses from both sides and a public fallout over a business deal, these two former business partners will never have that same kind of bromance again.

P. Diddy and his former umbrella-carrying personal assistant, Fonzworth Bentley ended their bromance in early 2000 because Fonzworth had had enough of being Diddy’s manservant. We guess you really can’t mix business with bromance.

Rapper The Game rose to fame as a member of G-Unit but tensions began to rise between him and 50 Cent. According to 50 cent, The Game was being disloyal to the group because he didn’t want to get involved with other feuds G-Unit had. With several diss songs released on both sides, this bromance ended in 2005.

When Jay-Z and Dame Dash ended their bromance so did Jay and Philly rapper Beanie Sigal. After Dash publicly claimed Beanie was leaving the roster with him, Beanie confirmed stating he was signing with Dame and Biggs because of a stronger bromance than with Jay-Z. HOVA quickly got over it because Beanie’s diss records had no impact on him or his career.

Matt Damon and Ben Affleck were close childhood friends who collaborated on the script for 1997’s Good Will Hunting and then even won Oscars for it. Their bromance got even stronger with shared vacations and family play dates. Sadly, the two have not been photographed together in years – we really hope this bromance hasn’t ended.

Justin Timberlake and JC Chasez began their bromance in 1995 when they formed the boy band N’Sync. When the group broke up in 2002, so did this boy band duo.
