Troubled NBA guard Delonte West, who played with the Boston Celtics last season, has applied for a job at Home Depot…cause the checks have stopped coming in!  The lockout is real, and Delonte is just like you and me, unemployed, searching for a job in America.

He announced on his Twitter that:

“It’s official.. Pride 2 the side.. just filled out a application at Home Depot.. Lockout aint a game.”

This might be his last resort to pocket some cash as he still has ramifications from his 2009 arrest when he was pulled over with three loaded guns and a knife on a motorcycle.

As most NBA players are thinking about going overseas for the lockout, West cannot as he tweeted:

“Can’t even get that over seas money, Judge said it’s a no go on leaving the country.”

Since he cannot go overseas and make money at his profession, this might be a necessity if he needs some cash.

West also suffers from bi-polar disorder and recently tweeted in need of his therapist:

Broke down in the ATM line.. 25 cars behind me and I already reached my daily limit… I’m broke n my cars broke.. Where’s my therapist???

If Delonte gets the job at Home Depot, can we get that discount on the paint?  Until the lockout is over, the basketball blues continue…
