Lady Gaga is making her way to the television, but in yellow and in animation!
Gaga plays herself in the in the new episode of The Simpsons titled “Lisa Goes Gaga.”
The pop star heads to Springfield where she tries to cheer up Lisa with her singing voice.
The real-life Gaga admitted that she was nervous when doing the voice-over and said:
“I make music, but I don’t do voice-overs every day of the week, and their characters are so awesomely convincing and sincere and wild and funny, I had to remind myself constantly of the sincerity of the humor.”
Even though she is nervous, Gaga is still uber excited and someone else close to her will be too as she said:
“My dad’s probably going to do 80 backflips when the episode comes out.”
If you are wondering how the show will adapt to her crazy and amazing style, they’ve got it covered.
Creator Matt Groening said:
“It’s very hard to top reality with her, but I’m sure we’ll come up with something that is going to be as improbable as her usual wardrobe.”
While you have to wait a little while, you don’t want to miss this episode, so be sure to tune in sometime in the spring of 2012 to see it!
