Despite sharing the stage with numerous other stars that night, such as Black Eyed Peas, Bruno Mars, Carrie Underwood, Coldplay and Kelly Clarkson, Alicia stood out on top for many, after she debuted a new piano ballad called “A Place Of My Own” and then teased the crowd with a hook from Jay-Z’s “Empire State of Mind.”
Lo and behold, later on when Jay-Z hit the stage performing his hit “Empire State of Mind,” Keys made her stage cameo and the two performed a duet of the song. You couldn’t wish for anything better than that…
Swizz and Alicia have certainly been the busy star couple this year and their attendance at the Five premiere shows that nothing is slowing them down.
