Giuliana Rancic has revealed that she is suffering from breast cancer, after a lump was discovered during a mammogram.
Giuliana has undergone two rounds of in-vitro fertilization in an effort to get pregnant. The mass was found as she was undergoing tests in preparation for a third round of in-vintro treatments.
The news came as a shocker when the 37-year-old E! News and Style Network host emotionally announced it on NBC’s Today’s Show. She will have to undergo surgury this week as a result, and six weeks of radiation therapy.

But that won’t stop Giuliana and her husband Bill from continuing to conceive a child. They are determined and strong. Rancic was going to wait til she turned 40 to have a mammogram, but her IVF doctor suggested she do it now.
“I still want this baby … because this baby has saved my life,” she said. “I truly feel God was looking out after me … If I had gotten pregnant later down the line, I could have been a lot sicker.”

She also said that her husband Bill has been “unbelievable,” stating that “the best thing about Bill is, he lets me cry when I want to cry.”
Now that is the kind of supportive husband that any wife can hope for. With some luck and support from her friends and family, hopefully we can expect to see a little Rancic strolling along this happy couple!
