We originally met La La Anthony back in 2002 as the host of MTV’s TRL, but she’s come a long way in the past nine years.

Now the star of her own reality show and busy being a mother and wife, La La is living her full court life!

EXCLUSIVE: La La Is A Super Mom

Yes, she has her hands full, but she’s still following her original passion of acting and has no plans of slowing down.

La La has been starring in the Off-Broadway show, Love Loss And What I Wore and has been getting rave reviews. She’s also filming the highly anticipated Think Like A Man which is set to hit theaters in 2012.

We caught up with La La and we got all the details on both her current and upcoming projects.

Check out our exclusive below!

Your performance in Love Loss And What I Wore has been getting a good response. Do you feel just as good about it?

La La: I feel great. It’s towards the end now, but the month went by really fast. It’s wonderful to be in a play where you can invite people to actually see what you can do. It’s very enjoyable and a great experience. You talk to people about acting and wanting to do more acting, but this they can actually see with their own two eyes and see how serious you really take it. It’s definitely a great platform.

Are there any rituals you do before you hit the stage?

In the beginning you are always nervous, but now the nerves have settled in and I just talk to the people who are in the play with me and we have our daily gossip and stuff like that. I take a moment before I go out there. Now the stuff is so embedded in us, we don’t need to rehearse beforehand. We could probably do this whole play with our eyes closed!

What is your favorite play?

You know it’s so funny, all the plays I go to see are definitely more kid-driven right now because of my son. So I’ve seen The Lion King and Spiderman on Broadway which are all great productions. But, I’m looking forward to next week because I’m going to go see Mountaintop. I’ve heard such amazing reviews about it and it’s such a powerful play with Angela Bassett and Samuel L. Jackson.

You just finished wrapping Think Like A Man. Can you tell us about your character?

My character is the pessimist of the movie. She’s the one that thinks the book is ridiculous: ‘Why would people read a book to function in their relationship? You guys are ridiculous if you think this book is going to tell you how to get a man or keep a man.’ You always have that one friend who isn’t buying into it, so that’s who my character is, but I’m so excited for that movie. Between Taraji P. Henson, Gabrielle Union, Kevin Hart, Meagan Good, Terrence J., it’s an amazing cast and just to be a part of that is awesome to me.

Did your cast members give you advice?

We’re all friends and we’ve known each other from before this experience, so I used to say ‘I can’t believe we’re working right now,’ because it never felt like work. It felt like you were hanging out with your friends and having a good time, especially if you have Kevin Hart on set, it’s never a dull moment!
