Our final convo with Carrie is centered around one of her first nights here in NYC where she got schooled on some of the city’s history which was made more exciting with a little Jameson.

So we checked out your twitter page and you seem to have this little love affair with Jameson. What is the best time you’ve ever had drinking some Jameson?
Well I started drinking Jameson when I came to New York City and that was just this past year. One of the best nights that I had was, a night where we started drinking at the Chelsea Hotel at the bar downstairs. I ended up running into some people I knew, one of the guys actually lived in the Chelsea Hotel, he’s a photographer. We ended up going to his house with a bunch of people from the bar and he was showing me all of his photos that he had taken in his room and inside the hotel.
The hotel is a landmark, it’s been around forever and there’s all of those rock and roll stories like Sid and Nancy.
There is just so much history inside of that hotel. So looking through his book and him telling all of the stories about living there for 30 years and what goes on in that hotel, that was one of the most fun nights. I was still new to New York and I felt like I was getting a piece of it.
How long have you been in New York for?
I’ve been back and forth. We shot in January for the show and then we shot here all summer so I was here all summer then I went back for a month now I’m back again for the rest of the year!
