Can you even imagine riding around in something that looks like this?

Straight out of the future, the above vehicle is inspired by robotics and artificial intelligence. This is a concept vehicle that Australian industrial designer and student Charles Rattray hopes will revolutionize the automobile industry by 2030.

Get this, the vehicle would travel in tight clusters shifting to maintain a flow of traffic. The vehicle uses microwave sensors to allow the cars to travel 7.8 inches apart. This would reduce energy consumption, making tailgating a good thing?!

Completely controlled by computers, the cars would understand their surroundings well enough to anticipate any changes in the road environment and react to them much quicker than the most experienced humans.

No more worrying about gas prices, these vehicles would charge through electrodynamics, wirelessly! You can charge on the go and energy can be shared amongst vehicles.

Good luck to Rattray, hopefully this project does come to life for 2030. Who knows, this may be the ride the rappers are talking about in their tracks!
