DETAILS: Young Rioters! Tyga Fans Go Nuts After Rapper No Shows At Concert

For 20 plus minutes, the California-based rapper talked about his album setbacks, what fans can expect on the album and what really happened in San Diego, where TMZ reported that he bailed on a show, causing 1,200 of his fans to riot.

VIDEO: Tyga “Rack City”

Tyga’s solo album Careless World: Rise of the Last King, was supposed to drop on December 20th, but due to some sample issues and typical label stuff, the album was pushed back into January.

Well, January isn’t happening either.

Tyga said that he is pushing for Careless World: Rise of the Last King to drop on February 7th. That’s the date and he wants to stick to it.

Next, Tyga explained what we can expect from the project. The star-studded 18-track album features guest appearances from Wale, J. Cole, Nas, Lil Wayne, Big Sean and Nicki Minaj.

And, finally, he broke down the situation that happened in San Diego earlier this month. TMZ said that Tyga was scheduled to perform but he ditched the show and his fans went crazy. Tyga tells the story differently:

“I was paid to do a host. Somebody wanted me to walk thru a club. What a host is, you come and chill at their club, say ‘what’s up’ to people and stuff life that. That’s what I was paid to do even though people thought I was performing. It sucks because how can I perform when I don’t have a DJ? I’m not prepared for a performance. But I still was going to f*ck with the crowd, but they shut it down. There was like 1,500, 2,000 kids out there.”

To make up for this misunderstanding, Tyga is going to have a free concert sometime in the near future for his San Diego fans.
