In 1988 Bobby Brown sang, “Don’t Be Cruel, because I would never be that cruel to you.” Those words couldn’t be truer. The death of Whitney Houston has sparked some interesting ideas, some that even blame Bobby Brown for her death.

DETAILS: Bobby B Banned From Whitney Houston’s Funeral

That could possibly be the reason why some of Whitney Houston’s family didn’t want Bobby at her funeral. But thankfully, they changed their mind. Bobby isn’t to blame, no one is. Bobby has nothing but love for his ex-wife Whitney Houston.

Sure they went through hard and difficult relationship, but now is the time to celebrate the life of Whitney Houston, and Bobby shouldn’t be robbed of that experience.

Bobbi Kristina once said, “They’re so happy around each other,” when she had dinner with her mother and her father. She needs to see her father mourn her mother. It will help her healing process.

Knowing that separated parents love each other can only help the child. For any person to deny that would be insane. Forgiveness is godly, and holding a grudge will never be a characteristic held by a good person.

There comes a time in everyone’s life where you have to forgive. A time when you have to say hey, let’s put our differences aside and do what’s right.

Over the course of our lifespan there are some dark times, but we get through them. Dark times allow us to shine brighter on days when people need us most. For the Houston family that day is today.

As she lay Whitney to rest she will shine her brightest. In death her greatness will be amplified, and her darkest days will be a mere comma in the book of history.

Many people in the public have formed their own opinion as well, but to those people, I urge that you think twice before you judge. We only know a sliver of what went on in the Houston-Brown household. So ask yourself, how can you judge if you don’t have all the information?

Don’t be cruel, pray that Bobby B can be a great father and shine his brightness on his child in her time of need.
