According to Billboard’s Top Money Makers in Music list, Taylor Swift is raking in the most money in the music industry right now. The country singer earned more than $35 million (from touring, album sales and royalties) last year alone. That is something that not even Kanye can over shine.
Last year’s number one money maker, Lady Gaga, took a little monster of a fall down to the 4th position while Young Money’s Lil Wayne ended off the top 5.

Despite spending most of 2011 healing from a throat surgery, Adele still managed to make the list following her boom of record sales for “21.”
The list calculates revenue based solely off of musical earnings and does not include any other endorsements or earnings.
