Danielle Slaughter, 27, is in police custody after she allegedly murdered her 6-year-old daughter by stabbing her multiple times in the neck with a pair of scissors in Las Vegas, Nevada.

A police report released March 11th indicated that Danielle kept her daughter from school on the day of her death because she had been feeling an “evil presence.”
Danielle said that when holding her daughter she began kicking, scratching and “laughing in an evil voice,” forcing her to commit the stabbing with a pair of scissors.

Danielle told authorities that she had been feeling the evil presence prior to killing her daughter for several days and had “never felt that way before.”
Danielle, who told detectives she had been taking dietary pill Hydroxycut and had not slept well, also made it a point to say that she could not believe she killed Kyla and that it was “not like her.”

Police received a call at about 6:05 p.m. March 11 that a black female was running on Vegas Drive near Jones Boulevard.
The woman was described as being barefoot with blood on her hands and screaming. Other callers reported that the woman was taking off her clothes as she ran.
She was taken into custody at Vegas Drive and Decatur Boulevard, completely naked. She told officers that the blood was from the “Lamb of God.” The responding officer did not see any injuries but she was taken to Valley Hospital by the city fire department.
Danielle Slaughter has been charged with murder with a deadly woman and has been transferred to Clark County Detention Center.
Authorities insist that the woman suffered from a “mental breakdown.”
