Last night the XXL Freshman class got straight A’s as they tore down Best Buy Theater during The Monster Energy Outbreak Tour featuring XXL’s Freshman Class of 2012 on April 9th in New York City.

The line up was insane, with most of the crowd waiting to see Machine Gun Kelly. But they were also treated to knock out performances by French Montana, Future, Roscoe Dash, Hopsin, Kid Ink, Danny Brown, Mackelmore, Don Trip and Iggy Azalea.
One of the highlights of the five-city outing that launched at SXSW was Iggy Azalea. The Grand Hustle queen excited crowds with her live versions of “Pussy” and new hit “Murda Bizness.” Following her set, she jumped into the crowd and hugged and greeted some fans.

Another standout performance last night was Mackelmore, who surprised many people who didn’t know who he was, with one concert-goer telling us, “He earned a new fan.”
The highlights of the evening were the last few sets from Future, French Montana and MGK, who ended the show wearing nothing but his boxers.
