Vice President Joe Biden became the highest-ranking Obama official to show a hint of support for same-sex marriage.

In his latest Meet The Press, VP Joe Biden said that the issue really comes down to “who you love.”
Biden stopped short of saying that he fully backs same-sex marriage, but implied that he does in the interview.

In the interview, “Meet the Press” host David Gregory asked: “And you’re comfortable with same-sex marriage now?”
To which Biden replied:
“I am vice president of the United States of America. The president sets the policy. I am absolutely comfortable with the fact that men marrying men, women marrying women, and heterosexual men and women marrying another are entitled to the same exact rights, all the civil rights, all the civil liberties. And quite frankly, I don’t see much of a distinction– beyond that.”
The issue of same sex marriage has been one connected to turmoil among the president’s political advisers who are deciding whether or not to fully back gay marriage before the election is over.
