Kanye West was tuxedo dapper at the 2012 Met Ball last night, but noticeably missing was his new girlfriend Kim Kardashian. Now two days after the event, rumors are flying that Yeezy’s Keeping Up with the Kardashians lover was banned from attending!

RadarOnline is claiming that Anna Wintour put the brakes on Kimmy K. showing up to fashion’s biggest event.
“Anna hates Kim,” a source says. “Why would she be invited to the event? It is all the biggest stars in the world and Kim doesn’t fit that bill at all.”
Interesting, considering that Kanye gave Anna a shout out on his ode to Kim, “Way Too Cold” saying, “Dinner with Anna Wintour, racin’ wit’ Anja Rubik. I told you ma’f*ckers it was more than the music.” Apparently that wasn’t enough to get Kim in the building.
“Kim can’t even buy her way in, Anna Wintour does NOT want her there!” the source says.
Tickets to the ball run about $25K a pop, which is chump change considering that Kim just inked a $40 million dollar deal to re-up on her show.

We’re not sure why there’s beef, but whatever the reason, the source says don’t expect to see Kim or any of her Kardashian sisters in Vogue anytime soon. Can’t we all just get along?
