The Bay hasn’t exactly been the most prosperous breeding ground for new R&B singers.

However, there’s a new singer coming from the San Francisco area that might be special.

The singer is named ndeluv (pronounced indie love) and we think he’s someone you should be paying attention to.

Ndeluv first started to make some noise last year with the release of his debut project, #hoodmusic.

Following the buzz that project created, ndeluv is back with his latest EP, #8911, with the first video off that project being the trippy-sounding “1994.”

“1994” is a slowed-down, chopped and screwed bedroom banger, unlike anything we’ve heard before.

In the smoky video, we see ndeluv share some screen time with a sexy gal. What makes the video interesting is you really don’t see much — the visuals are cloudy and glazed with purple, creating quite the mysterious vibe.

“1994” is slowed-down and sexy sounding, but the tape #8911, which is entirely produced by ndeluv himself, has a variety of different sounds at different tempos.

Nothing sounds conventional, however, with each track having its own quirky, trippy flip to it.

Watch the video above, and listen to the tape below and tell us what you think.

Also, check out his Tumblr where he posts a lot of cool, random sh*t.
