Welcome to the weekend! Hopefully the week wasn’t too stressful and now you are ready to enjoy every second of the weekend! For this weekend’s installment of Dollars & Sense we have got a couple of cool things for you to do to say farewell to the Olympic games in style. Check it all out below.

Watch The Closing Ceremony At Hyde Park

Take a trip out to London to be right up close with all of the Olympic Fanfare.  London Live is a series of outdoor screenings of the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games, in Hyde Park, Victoria Park and Trafalgar Square. In Hyde Park, large screens show live coverage of the Olympic games; there are also concerts and other entertainment including a variety of games. On Saturday everyone can come down to the park however Sunday’s closing ceremony you will have to purchase tickets to gain entry into the park for the event. The closing ceremony on August 12, which feature special a special “celebration concert” and based on availability, it will only set you back about $5.

Visit The Deutsches Haus Fan Fest

If you happen to be rooting for the German team, The Museum of London Docklands hosts Germany’s national house during the London 2012 Olympic Games. Serving as a hospitality area for athletes, sponsors and politicians, it also offers public entry to the ‘Fan Fest’, for screenings of the sports action at the Olympic Park, German food and drink, and live music.
