You have gotten over the week’s hump and the weekend is just over the horizon.  Thankfully we some things that you can do today to transition you into the weekend as pain free as possible. Visit Camp Fortune Ski and Aerial Experience:

15 minutes from downtown Ottawa, Camp Fortune offers a variety of outdoor recreational activities from skiing and snowboarding in the winter, to mountain biking, hiking and Fortune Aerial Experience from May to October. Mondays through Saturdays during ski season, you can hit the slopes for skiing or snowboarding until 10:00pm.

Visit The Canadian War Museum:

The Canadian War Museum is open till 8:00 pm every Thursday year round and Fridays till 8:00 pm from July to September. The museum focuses on military conflicts that occurred on Canadian soil, involved Canadian forces, or had a significant effect on the country and its people. If for nothing else, just stop by to check out the architecture award winning building.

Ride Your Bike Or Carpool Whenever Possible:

In many of the cities in the US it is hard to get by without a car. That said, just because you have a car does not mean you have to use it every day. Whenever possible, ride your bike or share a ride with a colleague or spouse and save both on gas and reduce the environmental footprint.
