If you know anything about The Weeknd, you know he doesn’t really like the limelight fame brings.

NEW MUSIC: Wiz Khalifa & The Weeknd “Remember You”

The ever-elusive singer was thrust into the spotlight when he released his highly acclaimed mixtape House Of Balloons in 2011.

Well received by fans and critics, The Weeknd spent most of 2011 in hiding, rarely making appearances or releasing content, with his face partially covered, adding to the Toronto native’s mystery.

NEW VIDEO: The Weeknd “Rolling Stone”

The Weeknd eventually put his shyness aside for this year’s Coachella Music Festival, and has since been a little more open about who The Weeknd actually is without music being involved.

The “High For This” singer released a new video for his Thursday banger “Rolling Stone,” and it symbolically represents his interpretation of his career and fame.

The Weekend wanted to explain to his fans that despite inking a deal with a major label, he won’t sell out.

The Weeknd penned a letter that read:

The Weeknd’s forthcoming album, Trilogy, will be comprised of his three previous mixtapes House Of Balloons, Thursday, and Echoes Of Silence

Trilogy will hit store shelves November 13.
