When Beyonce gave birth to Blue Ivy, she did so in the lap of luxury.

The “Dangerously In Love” singer welcomed her baby girl at a brand new upscale wing of Lenox Hill Hospital in NYC, but it turns out that wing might be putting the lives of newborn babies in jeopardy!

The New York Daily News reports the problem that’s leaving nurses stressed out.

You see, mothers who can afford to give birth in the executive suites, which is where King Bey delivered baby Blue Ivy in January, get one-on-one nursing care.

While this might seem great, it places less affluent mothers two floors above the luxury suites with all the other mothers. This leaves up to 18 newborns tended by a single nurse.

Now the nurses are speaking out, saying this is putting the babies’ lives at risk. By contract, nurses are only supposed to work with eight newborns at a time.

“It’s incredibly stressful,” one nurse who’s worked at Lenox Hill for decades told the Daily News. “You have too many babies. You can’t do all you need to do for them.”

While Bey absolutely deserves the best, we are positive she wouldn’t want to be taking away from the care of other women. Sounds like this hospital needs to hire more staff!
