Adele might be living in bliss now that she’s earned a Golden Globe, a whole set of Grammy’s and given birth to a beautiful new baby, but her family life is still complicated.
According to RadarOnline, the 21 singer refuses to let her father see his new grandson since they are not on speaking terms.

He recently did an interview with The Mail, where he talked about his disappointment in their relationship preventing him from meeting her son:
“I’ve left messages on her phone, I’ve written to her and I’ve sent her birthday and Christmas cards but it’s like I’m dead to her.”
“I’m not interested in her celebrity statusor her money. I just want my daughter back and I want to be a proper granddad to the little one.”
Apparently, Adele’s dad found out about her pregnancy through the media, and not from a family member.

He told the newspaper:
“Not only did I hear I was going to be a granddad for the first time via the media, I found out the same way that she’s calling the baby Angelo James…”
The rift between them has caused a lot of tension, but he still wishes her daughter the best for her nomination at the Oscar’s:
“I know she’ll win because she’s brilliant but I won’t be there and I won’t even watch it on television.”
Hopefully these two can work things out soon enough so he can see his grandson!
