A pregnant woman was fired from a Christian college in California after the faculty discovered she had sex before marriage.
Teri James was let go from employment after the school believed she went against what the school stood for and, oddly enough, tried to replace her with her then-fiance, who is now her husband.

According to The Huffington Post, James signed a two-year contract with the school that made her agree to not engage in “sexually immoral behavior including premarital sex.”
Teri explained to Today:
“I needed a job in this economy and so I never thought that anything would happen.”

She also said during a press conference:
“I was unmarried, pregnant and they took away my livelihood.”
Apparently this trend of firing Christian school teachers who have engaged in premarital sex is not uncommon, as there have been multiple cases of it in the past.
Hopefully this situation can get cleared up, and Teri can find a new job soon.
