NEW MUSIC: Mariah Carey “Almost Home”
Mariah Carey releases the visuals to her Disney-inspired track “Almost Home.”
In between juggling twins and judging on American Idol, Mariah somehow found time to shoot a black and white video, which features clips of the new Disney film Oz The Great And Powerful.
If you’re looking to watch an exciting new video, this unfortunately isn’t the one. The video is actually quite snooze-worthy, but at least the song is easy on the ears.

During an interview with Vh1, Mariah explained how “dem babies” inspired her to write “Almost Home,” stating:
“I’ve always just loved Disney, and now especially having two little babies—like all we do is watch animated movies, even though they’re so little, they still love them, especially Roc, my little boy.”
Mariah is currently working on her forthcoming album, which is due out in May.
Oz The Great And Powerful hits theaters across the nation today.
