Tomorrow’s March 9th. It’s a national holiday from Brooklyn to Brixton to Bali for lovers of music but especially hip hop music. We have lost many a great hip hop hero over the years. But March 9th stands out for a reason. There will parties, DJ’s playing tributes on the radio but most importantly memories of Biggie. I often wonder if March 9th will always be an important date the world of hip hop music. My little nephews are coming up in a new world that includes Chief Keef and Joey Bada$$.. So it’s up to me to help them understand who the greatest rapper of all time was and what March 9th means.
