James Franco is a renaissance man of sorts.
He acts, he raps (kinda) and he teaches, in addition to attending school himself. James’ latest movie Oz The Great And Powerful recently opened at #1 at the box office and his upcoming movie Spring Breakers is rumored to be equally as entertaining.
With all of these amazing things going on in his life, you would think that James’ success would be all anyone wants to talk about. But the 34-year-old can’t seem to shake one thing: questions about his sexuality.

In the April issue of Attitude Magazine, James got a chance to finally touch on the subject, although in our opinion he still didn’t give us a very definitive answer.
In regards to the question of his sexual preference, James tells the mag:
“One of the things that’s very much part of my public image is the question of my sexuality. It’s not something that bothers me in the slightest. It hasn’t gone away and I get asked about it from all sides. It’s partly my doing and partly not my doing.”
When discussing the rumor’s impact on his career:
“I was supposed to do a commercial with this company and they pulled out because they weren’t happy, they didn’t like the subject matter of my films at Sundance. If I’m at the threshold of doing a project and the question comes up, ‘Will this be harmful to your career?’ I never want that to be the deciding factor.”

We’re sure James has his reasons for keeping the issue a private matter.
