The danger of guns was realized in North Carolina, when a dad accidently shot his 10-year-old son while trying to clean a shotgun. Christopher Stanlane, 34, was on the couch in his Fairmont home wiping down the gun around 4 p.m. Sunday when it fired. The young boy was shot in the head while watching television. No charges have been filed yet. [HuffPost]

Customers in a Pennsylvania Target store got more than they bargained for when a man with a long kitchen knife went on a “stabbing” spree. The assailant allegedly stabbed four victims after he started swinging the knife outside of the store. The stabbings appeared to be random and the incident is under investigation. [HuffPost]
