Sexy and sassy with a caramel complexion, full of confidence and charm, Eve never fails to demand attention when she enters a room. Not many artist get to say that they’ve starred in their own TV show, acted in major films, won a Grammy, had a successful clothing line and sold over 8 millions records worldwide, but Eve can. She’s been in the game for over a decade strong and still has the passion and hunger of a beginner.

Recently I sat down with Eve and we discussed her new music, her love life and she let me in on a little bit of information about her love life that you will have to wait just a little while to hear more about.

You’ve performed in so many great countries, what was your best experience?
My best experience was probably Macau, such a different world!
What has changed about Eve since we first met her with the Ruff Ryders?
I think a lot had changed. It’s been over 10 years since I came out with RR. I’m more mature definitely. But ultimately I’m still Eve from Philly.
What inspires you nowadays and tell us about the album?
I have partnership with the Big Brothers Big Sisters of America that I’m excited about. It inspires me to encourage more people to become mentors to kids.
In one word Eve describes the album as “Feisty and Fiery.” Lip Lock is set to be released under Eve’s own label, FTR Music on May 14, 2013. Check out the new video for “Make It Out This Town” above. In addition, check out some backstage footage I captured of her on stage in Abu Dhabi.
