The Amazing Spider-Man 2 is currently filming in New York City and we got our first glimpse of Jamie Foxx as the villain Electro!
We must say, he might be the most chilling villain we’ve ever seen in the franchise. Jamie was spotted in full makeup while filming scenes in Times Square.
According to Collider, he spoke about his role in the comic series, saying:
The filmmakers wanted “to try new things, like a liquid rubber and things like that, and there are all these bolts and stuff in my arms when they are hanging me upside down and trying to figure out what happened.”
Jamie appeared to nail it and with his acting pedigree, The Amazing Spider-Man looks like it’s going to be epic.
The film stars Andrew Garfield, Emma Stone, Paul Giamatti, Felicity Jones, and Sally Field, and opens in 3D on May 2, 2014.
We bet he’ll be on that red carpet with his daughter as well.
