As a Brooklyn native, I can admit I sometimes get a bit defensive when implants attempt to recreate the borough’s culture-filled aesthetic. But when it comes to Solange, I’m all for her BK-inspired steeze, even when she hits the red carpet.
Last week, Solange ditched her Brooklyn apartment to glam up in a New York City hotel for fashion’s biggest red carpet: the Met Gala. She was paired up with Opening Ceremony’s Humberto Leon, who provided a fun rendition of prints now synonymous with Solange’s personal style for the event.
